    Being an Indian, we make this quite a bit..in our culture it tends to be eaten when one is not feeling well since its healthy, nutritious and not too heavy, as long as butter is limited. Looks good

    Always enjoy your recipes. This dish is not for me though although it looks very tasty. I was once an in patient with meningitis at the Royal London in the east end of London, in Whitechapel. Without exception either dahl or rice and peas was served with every meal. I loved them before I went in but have not faced either, ever since!
