I enjoy this type of video. It was an interesting discussion. You guys brought up some very interesting points on the pros and cons of "vegan" fast food. I think that it's cool for those transitions who are not able to go cold turkey or it's taking them a while to fully transition. Also, I think it could be good for people who have a family in which all are not vegan. But that was a very good point about cross contamination and then also the support of a business that profits off of non-vegan products.

I'm interested you guys journey. Why did you decided to go vegan in the beginning and what kind of vegans are you guys?

Right now I have 1/2 a dozen eggs and 6 drumsticks in my fridge and plain Greek yogurt…….the balance of the items are fruits and veggies and vegan cheese…..vegan cream cheese and almond milk and coconut creamer and vegan pesto and vegan Caesar dressing and tahini and impossible burger meat and tofu!
I’m a flexitarian who leans towards plant based more often than not so I love the options when I’m out…..granted KFC would be a last resort. I buy Beyond to prepare myself…..oh and my pantry has jackfruit and banana blossoms!!!!
    Beans I love beans!!

I loved this! Veganism definitely transcends beyond just food, so I enjoy these conversational videos. You two hit on so many great points and perspectives and that's always great to see.

Appreciate this video. I liked your perspective and input. I think you could of mentioned the environmental/sustainability aspect of these products as well. I think a lot of major companies(or even people in general) are realizing that it just doesn't make sense to use animal based products anymore. I know that also falls back onto profit, but I think they still can recognize its no longer sustainable or working out.

Great point my family and I drove from NY to FL it was very hard to eat along the way. I even packed sandwiches, fruit, washed cut but because it’s so hard to eat I packed our food but the returning trip was very different. We lived on impossible burgers. My husband and I have been vegan for 10+ years, staring off wasn’t easy but we wouldn’t change a thing. Don’t miss
    Meat etc at all. 👋🏼🙌🏼

i find it so interesting that ppl could’ve been offended by beyond x kfc saying “nuggets weren’t prepared in vegetarian/vegan manner”. i thought they did that for liability after the lawsuit brought up against impossible x burger king. i believe it was dropped tho

I feel it is a good idea for those who don’t cook at home. Home cooking is my first choice, I enjoy the recipes Make It Dairy Free ( you guys should write a cookbook). All that said, I’m concern with cross contamination. Will the staff be as invested in honor veganism?

I think they aren’t vegan because grocery stores are a necessity and you have to shop from them even though they sell animals , but KFC isn’t necessary and is giving money to one of the largest chicken killers in the world. You’re also still paying for the mayonnaise even if you don’t eat it.

Maybe it’ll be useful to get more non vegans interested, but I’d honestly show them channels like yours before I’d take someone considering veganism to KFC.

I agree that vegans aren't the target market. Most vegans weren't going to the non vegan restaurants anyway. Also agree that vegans are shopping at grocery stores that sell animal products. I think is nice to have options.

I am definitely pro any plant based option at any restaurant and I try to financially support them when I can. In regards to theKFC nuggets, I was only upset that there wasnt a vegan sauce option in the actual dipping sauce options. You could only order ketchup or maybe hotsauce. Even the bbq sauces had honey. I ordered no sauce and they still threw a couple of every sauce and I had to throw them out. I am definitely on your thoughts train in regards to vegan things at non vegan places. XO Davita

i think that it was a good idea but TERRIBLE execution, they use the same materials + same oil as they would with their animal based products. it’s really disappointing (for the company) and sad to see so many vegans enjoy the food when they may not have even come across this info. i hope later on in the future fast food chains adjust this, because i believe that’s their biggest fall in why so many people don’t go out to get their “vegan” option(s.)

I was vegan for 3 years and got extremely unwell (and in true vegan fashion, I told people how many years I was vegan all the time).

I know eat grass fed beef and have actually found out I caused more pain and suffering and death to sentient beings buying cheap veggies from major supermarkets, then consuming the equivalent of one cow a year.

I learned the most vegan thing I can do now, is to eat grass fed beef.

The beyond chicken is extremely expensive that's the biggest issue. EXTREMELY INACCESSIBLE. There's no issue with cross contamination when it comes to the morality angle. Veganism has nothing to do with food. If you have dietary needs address them. If you buy from a non vegan grocery store you're doing the same as buying from animal based fast food places.
You both did well talking about all of the major issues in my opinion. Love your stuff.
