I agree with those things to quit EXCEPT #6. I think sacrificing my happiness for others is only right and pleasing to God. Isn’t that where we find true happiness when we sacrifice for others? Jesus gave his ALL for us. Maybe you can shed some light on this, but I have a hard time understanding the thinking on this. The others…I agree.

On another note, I have always believed friends should be like a good bra, supportive, lift you up and cause no pain (hello underwire). They should offer a non-judgement zone because there is enough of THAT coming from all corners and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.

I would like to add 2 things to that list of things to quit #9 taking your health and one and only body for granted and #10 treat those that are in your life with the kindness you treat strangers, don't take their presence for granted. The list of 8 things resonates in me so strongly I am surprised my ears aren't ringing. Since I had my epiphany last Christmas, quit sugar December 26th, 2020 (cold turkey) and went keto February 1st, 2021 I am a different person, I not only like my body for the first time ever in my 50 years on earth and am happy with my 155 pound weight but I like ME, my new confidence and ability to speak up for myself, my needs and my happiness. The lack of confidence in oneself makes others needs more important, their happiness more important because we feel we don't deserve it. I finally feel that my happiness is equally as important as everyone else's.

Rachel I can definitely relate to stress eating. I lost 120 lbs on keto. But this past year I gained 50 lbs back. I can’t even believe I let this happen. Starting today I’m back on track. Three out all the garbage food today. Now I’m going to look into joining a gym and making new friends this year. Love you 2KK.

I got my lollies granola and made the magic cookie bars keto style!
So yummy! Don't know carb count but just a few bites and I'm good.
You are so right about hwc. I have cut way back and now drink coffee black, but flavored.
    Thanks guys!❤

I read a book that said eating is actually a physiological analgesic. So, we give ourselves grace, but not excuses, right? Love and only love.

Jo and Rachel I don't like you right now. Just tried the Lolli Macadamia and peanut butter so delicious I can't stop eating and it doesn't affect my type 1 bloodsugars. I got to stop eating. Just ordered more. They are going in freezer.

Brian has the Oculus Quest 2. He and the kids love it. I didn't know you can do exercise stuff. Is there a certain game or program? I have no idea how it works. But if you have a name I can have him look. I hate video games, but I would use it to exercise.

I have been wearing jeans that are too big since Omaha. I have this mindset that I’m not going to fit in the smaller size even though I can pull my jeans up like you would leggings or joggers. I finally used some of my money on ThredUP to buy some gently used smaller jeans. They fit perfectly and no worries about possibly walking out of them. 😀

Thanks for saying it’s okay to throw out the Christmas non-keto food. I had just done that (tomorrow is garbage day) but was feeling a little guilty about throwing away perfectly good food knowing there are many hungry people that would love to have it on their tables. I tried not to make too much so I wouldn’t have leftovers (except for the ham), plus I gave extras to our guest & my mom to take home with them😁

Rachel was talking about making your goal smaller clothing size. What a great idea! I am still 25lbs away from my scale goal after losing 75lbs. These last 25lbs have been so difficult to lose and it is discouraging. But it had hoped to get to size large after being a tight 2x for years. I got into large 6 months ago and started to cry cause it didn't ever seem possible. Now, I can where medium which I haven't worn since high school. But the scale hadn't moved from size large to medium. So yes, Rachel's right. Go by clothing size!

Oh wow! I'm going to do bbbe again. Back in November, I decided to do bbbe after the holidays even though I stayed keto. Over the holidays I increase dairy and keto treats. There was also some dirty keto choices at holiday get togethers. I wanted to enjoy time with family and friends. On BF, I made my first keto chow order. I love it and wished I ordered it sooner. I will pick my favorite flavor and order a big bag which I will add to my bbbe plan. I often am to busy to eat and my protein is too low so chow can help with this. It was nice to hear that the 2kk family is doing this as a challenge. I can't wait to join in. Thanks for all you two do. Happy New Years!!!

You are so right. This is the hardest week of the year. Even keto leftovers can be overdone and cause issues.
My theme for the upcoming year. "Do it anyway" I have yummy non BBBE+KC leftovers in the fridge that I want to eat but I am going to do BBBE+KC anyway! 😆

I am not throwing out my prime rib, lobster, scallop, and shrimp leftovers. I'm eating those until they are all gone even if it takes me all week to finish them, Rachel. 😉 After that I am ready for a reset though. 🙂

Today, went shopping and had an AMAZING NSV….my size 10 jeans are ver loose so I tried on some new jeans…..had to get a size 6! Haven’t been this size since BEFORE my youngest was born….he is almost 25! I am on cloud 9. Love you guys, this family and this lifestyle!
