Sahil!! This was AWESOME! I will certainly share this with my dad…he'll certainly appreciate seeing you using our sauce to cook wings all the way in India 🙂 AND sharing them with your dad!!!!

The blue cheese has a cooling effect to minimize the "hot" effect of the sauce…so, the celery dipped in the blue cheese after you eat your "hot" wings is supposed to help cool your mouth down. Atleast that's one theory 🙂

This recipe looks absolutely terrific! I will make this. I do have one criticism, though: You put the cooked wings back into the bowl that had the marinade for the raw chicken, I think. If you did, there are raw chicken juices that have now tainted the cooked wings.

I think the idea with the celery is that it’s just something to dip and fill you up, healthwise it’s some good soluble fiber with all the meat and creamy sauces but a lot of these are served in restaurants or bars and think it’s just something crunchy and easy to eat with your fingers that also fills you up so they can sell you six or eight chicken wings instead of trying to fill up on just the wings part. Not every place does it but I usually like to have celery with them, though I’m not a fan of buffalo sauce it just taste like vinegar and heat to me and I’m not a huge fan of vinegar so usually like to go for more of a honey barbecue flavor, I’m making wings tonight and I watched another video you did with the garlic butter Parmesan sauce and that looks pretty good as well I’m gonna do some of those and some hickory barbecue, sweet baby rays released some no sugar added sauce that’s really not bad it uses all yellows and though it has some bad ingredients they’re listed where it says less than 2% of and it’s not perfect queen keto but it looks pretty good, hopefully that will taste good as well. I’m going to make mayonnaise today so I’ll probably make two batches and turn one into some ranch dressing for dipping in salads, I think it will be a pretty good Thanksgiving dinner. 😂

Why celery and blue cheese? According to the folklore of the creation of the "Buffalo Wings", the meal was thrown together as a quick late night snack for the son of the owners of the Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York. Celery and blue cheese just happened to be available in the last minute event. So the story goes.

LOL you guys are awesome 😀 And I have no clue about the theory of these celery sticks, but when you said "why not carrots", that reminded me that here, when you order wings, they come with blue cheese dip and "vegetables", which is always celery sticks and carrot sticks 😀 I'm in Canada so we're confused anyway 😛

My theory is celery kind of cools you off if you're eating hot wings. It's a nice texture change coming from a crispy wing, to that crunch of the celery with ranch / blue cheese.

These look great. From what I understand, they serve celery on the side to help cut some of the heat from the sauce. Love the interaction with your dad. You are right; don't give out your address; a lot of psychos out here. Lol

To us Americans, using pre-made wing sauce is kind of like an Indian using jarred curry sauce. We make it ourselves from scratch because it's really not very complicated. Butter, Frank's original hot sauce, Tabasco sauce if you want, some Worcestershire sauce, salt pepper, Italian seasoning and a splash of vinegar. You adjust the ratio of butter and the hot sauces depending upon your taste.
marinating your chicken wings ahead of time only makes it harder to get them crispy on the outside. Especially if you're baking them. Just give your chicken wings some salt and pepper and cook them straight away as they are.

This is glorious, I've been looking for "low carb diet plan menu" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried – Ronaliana Future Falbala – (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.

I traveled to Buffalo back in 2012.While there I had to eat at some of the local favorites. Ted's Hotdogs, Mighty Taco, and of course, Duffs. I really liked Duff's wings. However, I expected them to be a little hotter so I got the mediums. I could've handled the hot. They were delicious though!

#BUFFALOVE I'm a BLO native and just came across this. Wings are pretty serious in WNY. Duffs is the most well known but a lot of smaller pizza joints have some awesome wings too. Gotta try your recipe! 😋😋😋
