They LOOK like biscuits, but taste like almond flour muffins. They do taste good and buttery, but these wouldn't work for biscuits, if you made a keto biscuits and gravy. As discussed, you might be able to doctor them up to be something else. I would bet that if you only added some corn flavoring, that they'd be passable unsweet corn muffins. I have two more boxes to go, so I may try that.

I was surprised at how you both buttered your biscuits. I've seen people do that with cornbread, too. I always slice mine open and put the butter inside, so it melts into the biscuit, or the cornbread. Of course, these days fake biscuits and fake cornbread!

Serving them in the South, I would plan a sausage or ham gravy to pour over them. Crumbly wouldn't matter if eating with a fork.
Someone might consider using them on top of a thick chicken stew casserole.
I'm one that cooks from scratch, though, so I have all the needed ingredients already. In my biscuit recipe, I'm spoiled now to add a little grated cheese, even Parm. But, I might order this product when putting together a Keto gift pkg for a Friend who wants to try going Keto… as well as recommend watching your YouTube podcast! Thanks again for all the great recipes tested and true. πŸ‘ Texan Diane

Would these work out better if you brushed melted butter on them? I think it would depend on how soft the butter is unless they're really super delicate and nothing makes a difference to keep them from crumbling. Also it's possible they might firm up a bit more if you don't eat them right away. The butter in them would solidify when completely cool.

I was disappointed in the keto bakes biscuits. Sadly, I have been disappointed in pretty much every keto biscuit, as a southerner and biscuit aficionado. I do sometimes make the carb quick biscuits with old bay and cheddar and they are tolerable

Sounds like you may want to check out Carrie Brown's cheese biscuit recipe. She is a pastry chef who made this recipe. It has konjac and gelatin added for structure. You can slice them and they hold up. Easy to make in the food processor. πŸ˜‹

I have to agree about the Keo Chow it is very thick and sort of slimy feeling. I usually water it down a bit the next morning. I have not bought any since they redid the formula. But have even been considering if it's even really "food"

The best fastfood breakfast biscuit for me has always been Hardees (aka Carl's Jr). So, it would be nice to have a biscuit to do a breakfast sandwich – otherwise a chaffle is always good….
