You say wife cooks and the husbands will love this. Except I’m the husband that does all the cooking. I already make this but I cheat a bit. I use canned mushroom soup and some other things like bacon, caramelized onion, garlic and additional mushrooms.

Made this 2x already using your recipe. First, with bone-in porkchops( loved it). Today, I used beef patties( regular) and it’s sooo good! Both times, I used beef broth— no regrets, beef broth(or bouillon cube)for me is more flavorful. I have a freezer full of porkchops and beef burger patties for this recipe alone and cans of mushrooms( if you couldn’t go to the grocery store to buy fresh mushrooms). Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe, my friends love it!

You cook like me!!!! I am so glad you posted such an excellent recipe that I am actually cooking for my parents tonight 😃
Just a 54 year old lawyer, never married, never pregnant- just head over heels while cooking and caring for my senior parents in the interim.

    Thank you!!!🤗❤️

Looks great…making tonight…two things…. the drippings from the pork chops should have been added to the mushrooms for just a bit more flavor and when testing for temperature, it appeared that the tip of the thermometer was resting on the bottom of the pan. Of course it may be just the way it appeared, but that's a no no.

Bring your chops to 145 and remove from heat. Allow them to rest a bit, with the gravy and all, for about 5min. Serve. Your husband will love more for that small difference. More tender, more juice, USDA approved. Temps have been recently revised and it makes a world of difference

Thank you for the loin tip for slicing. ALSO thank you for the listing of the ingredients as well as the cooking instructions. I now have this on my list of making these chops in my slow cooker. Oops, also the printout link most help full.
