Hi Lulu, gee, I wrote you last night and must have deleted it ( what a dumb ass๐). Yesterday was my 69th birthday! Yikes, not saying much for me. Anyway, I just love your videos because you are a force of joy, pure and focused. The new glasses are perfect on you. They are like you: elegant , bold yet understated. I am looking forward to watching your installation of the new cargo box. I am especially interested in seeing what items you choose to carry and how the back doors will work once the box is attached. That lunch really looked amazingly delicious. How often are you allowed to incorporate 8oz of carrots in the salad? Is it correct that you count specific amts of the foods rather than the calories? Or both? I was a little confused. The cod was a great addition. If you like that , I was thinking you might enjoy Chilean sea bass as well. It is so delicious! It is a bit pricey but for a special occasion worth it! Whole Foods has good selection of fish for a regular supermarket. Thanks for all of your great videos and motivational content. You are such a happy intentional content creator and I appreciate that so much. Thank you for that. You are totally non selfish and real. Pure joy and without an agenda. I have learned so much from you about justโstop complaining and just do itโ Your music and happy dances are fabulous and a great start to the day. I am so happy to have found you. Did you ask REI to install it? I asked when I bought mine there & they did it free of charge. You canโt lose either way you do itโonce you have it you will see first hand if you like it, but if you donโt like it after using it, you can turn around & sell it.
It makes me uncomfortable to try and listen to a video when people are eating and talking at the same time. Why do I have to watch other people eat? It is rather disgusting.

Would live to go to the meet up but it is over 4 hours for me (I'm in southern Missouri) and i am still recovering from my broken leg (at 72 you dont bounce back to well). I have a SUV but camp in my 13' Scamp travel trailer. Maybe another time. I am living the van life thru all the youtubes I watch. Love watching you

How long do you bake your carrots? And Thankyou for the tip, I am putting a hitch on my car and it was almost $600. At the dealership but when I heard your idea of U-Haul I called them and it is 423.00 taxes included for everything and a better hitch, a class 3 rather than class 2. ๐

I understand the joy of camper van travel, but since you are on the road twice the time spent with your daughter, why not fly?
On the stealth, as a non camper fan, there are way too many people and videos out there any more. I find myself looking and see vans and cars, as Jan said window covers, but our walmart ๐ always has a few, last week there was 5 or 6 there. So I wouldn't worry about that part. As they all say use you're gut.
You & I are on exactly the same page regarding our philosophy of our personal safety. Iโve yet to find myself in a situation where I felt unsafe. Like you, situational awareness & going with my gut is the way I roll.

I forgot about you mentioning a cargo box. I would get one too. Knowing me, I will need it. Lol
I live by Loves. I always get my gasoline there. I'm very aware of car-van travelers. I've seen the cargo boxes on white vehicles. Cargo boxes are not enough for me to know for sure I've seen that vehicle before. I just don't like to think people can look at my vehicle and think, "oh that's Mrs dum dum" she stands out like a sore thumb." LOL Also I disagree with the statement of the lady you interviewed saying, "they know your in there". Police maybe but not the public. They can't know for sure who in there, (man, woman, couple, Rottweiler Doggie or no one at all,) in your van. Last but not least, I agree with, maybe the magnets. You could use them when you in the mood, take off when you go to park to sleep. I'm like you I do not walk around scared or nervous but I am teaching myself to be more aware and think smart about different scenarios.

Chrome Valdez, VancityVanlife, had a problem with the installation of his new giant cargo box on the back of his van. It was tearing loose on him. I think he originally installed it himself. He made a video of it.
