    Those wooden barriers on the table is ridiculous. Putting lime juice on a soup is not cultural, but perhaps that dish itself is not base on something traditional. Pares used to be something that is not like a Soup. People standing up and eating like this is so Strange for a Filipino food place. Its not even what is Basic. It was just POVERTY and innovation. Sadly this is how Filipino culture is evolving. If that was Basic, good luck to the poor.

    Hi Marshall, new sub here. Really liking your street food blogs and I binged watched most of it. Perhaps I may suggest you try Escolta, Manila. There is UNO Restaurant there and you could try the wok fried misua. There is lots of historical buildings too you could tour. Watch out for pickpockets.

    wearing mask and face shield are useless due to cross contamination. i can mention so many things in this video about cross contamination. just one person with covid will infect everyone in this restaurant and it will be a domino effect.

    Lol. Didn’t feel your love for that lunch meal. Also been to the intramural area and was bombarded with the locals to purchase a horse And buggy ride. And same as you we also stopped for the same ice cream vendor
