    Looks interesting, and while I totally agree with the trimming and cutting the sprouts in half (to the horror of most other Brits), I keep the cooking to no more than 5 minutes – any more, and you risk them going bitter.
    May favourite finish is to fry some smoked bacon lardons until crispy, add in some sweet chestnuts and a teaspoon of honey and then stir the cooked sprouts through the honey and bacon fat mixture, for the perfect Christmas dinner side dish.
