I made the cheese sauce tonight. I don't have a big mixer/blender, so I used my NutriBullet. It was amazing! I let all my meat eaters try it and I didn't tell them there was not any cheese in it. They loved it!

Made this tonight! I just started this journey and this definitely helped my any cheese cravings I had. Bonus it's all yummy and nutritious! My 13 month old couldn't get enough, too. Thank you!

Thank you Thank you, yum yum! I didn't have all your ingredients so I used your sauce and made this cauliflower, roasted red pepper, corn, black beans, , and mushroom bake. Topped it with avocado, lime and cilantro. OMGoodness. Keep up that creative mind of yours because it gets mine thinking!!

I'm new to the plant based food and Ipot worlds. Just wondering if you can recommend a brand or source for raw cashews? I've looked an Amazon but there are so many contradictary opinions in the reviews.

I made this cheese sauce and it's amazing I replaced corn starch with tapioca starch to avoid GMO corn and used a blendtec, after 3 minutes or so it was beyond steaming hot. I still found it a bit thin so I added another half tbsp of tapioca starch and blended another minute and it was perfect. Do I really need to blend 5 minutes if it's steaming hot sooner than that in my blendtec? Is that why I needed more starch? Anyway I'll for sure be making this often so I'll experiment and find out.

If this question has been answered, I apologize, I couldn't find it scrolling through. I have an IPot, but not a Vitamix. How do you recommend cooking the sauce on the stovetop? I assume it would be – let it cool and blend after?

Awesome video, Jill. I would love to make this, but I don't have any cashews. I do have walnuts. Will the walnuts work in this recipe, or should I wait until I can get cashews?

Oh my gosh!!!! I've been WFPBNO for 17 months now and this is the first time I've made any kind of cheese sauce. It was, also, the first time I used my new Vitamix that I've had for six months! I just made mac and cheese and it was, how can I put it, FANTASTIC, no, it was more than fantastic…soooo delicious! I can't remember the last time I ate so much of something! Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! It will be the star of my Easter dinner!!! Thanks Jill! I love watching your videos and making your recipes.

I've made this 5 times in the last month. OMGeeeeee, it is to die for! I did also make the mac n bean recipe as well. Wonderful. Today I made mac n cheese with brocolli and peas. And I add el yucateco chile habanero sauce as a topping. Yum. And you are too funny. Also, made the cheese sauce with white beans instead of cashews, almost as good. Nice fat free alternative. Thanks for your efforts Jill.

This is soooooo good. I used a can of diced green chilis and pinto beans, because that is what I had. Will be making it often. Excited I can pull out some for grandson and picky boy, and the rest of us can enjoy flavorful food. Thanks so much!
