Welcome back everyone! Today we are sharing our pantry and freezer tour! Here I show how we store all the food that feeds our family! If you have any …
I do crockpot lasagna and never cook my lasagna noodles. I add some water to my sauce/meat mixture, and my noodles turn out great!
I use oven ready lasagna in my crockpot. Never had an issue. 🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely add more sauce to the oven ready lasagna. Sometimes if I just have one thing a sauce I add just a little bit of water to it because the pasta absorbs the water but if you don't add any extra liquid it is not cooked all the way. But I love it! And the reason is is because I cannot stand mushy noodles. I have used the method of adding extra water to a lot of recipes and I don't pre cook the pasta for casseroles and it has worked wonders in my kitchen and let me tell you a prep is simple as can be a dump it all in throw it in the oven with an extra two cups of water….. dinner is done
I don't live oven ready lasagna noodles either. I feel you have to have so much sauce and cook it longer to be done
Yes please for another!!
I love those lasagna noodles! 😁 they are my favorite. The way I make my lasagna makes it a bit more watery and that helps with the noodles cooking and not having a soggy dish or a dry dish.
Also congrats on the house!!!
I was on vacation for 8 days with no cell phone and missed all your lovely videos. I’ve been catching up and watching them slowly I’ve the past few days.
Love watching your family and can’t wait to see the meals you crear this next month.
when it comes to the no bake lasagna noodles, i always add a little bit of water to my pasta sauce so that they have a little more liquid to absorb. works perfectly!
Yes, please do more pantry videos. I love your family!
Hopefully you guys can eat down on the new haul before you move 😱tyfs! 😊
I love your pantry videos, but buying a house is crazy so don't if it's too much!
Yes, please let us know how it goes for your food situation for Feb….you need a lot for your family for sure ,love your sweet babies ?
Your pantry and fridge looks like mine 😀
No shame, no judging…I live alone and my pantry gets messed up. LOL
Did I hear you say yesterday you might hire someone to clean the house once you're out? I hope you can. Be a HUGE weight off your shoulders.
Saw that you don’t like oven ready lasagna pasta. I am one Italian American that’s here to say I love those Italian lasagna noddles. Such a time saver as well as less mess to clean up. I find that you do have to use enough sauce to make sure the noddles hydrate. I also use a lot of ricotta cheese that helps to add moisture. I wouldn’t give up on the oven ready pasta give it another shot. Good luck. Hope your not going too crazy with all your packing and cleaning.
I love how you make dinner for all of you, even sometimes planning leftovers. It makes me feel like I can do it too because if you can do it for 7 I can do it for 2 lol And yes, to all pantry/freezer tours and grocery hauls no matter how mini!
Yew we want a February tour.
We like any video you put out. Make it easy on yourself for February since you are in the middle of buying a house and packing some items etc. Do what you want and have time for. We will enjoy watching.
I hate no bake noodles, I thought it was just me, I have texture issues galore, so not for me. I use regular lasagna noodles but don't boil them, haven't for almost 20 years. Just make sure they are completely covered in sauce. You can water it down if you want to save $, it's good either way. Cover & bake 1 hour 15 minutes, uncover, if a butter knife slides through easily just bake long enough to brown the top a little, 10 or 15 minutes,.
So excited for y'all to be moving. I also really love watching your beautiful children play together. <3
I think your pantry is plenty clean so don’t worry I like that you keep it real.
Dont clean it!! It looks like a real pantry, not one of those cardboard cut outs
Your pantry looks like mine at the moment, real life, real pantry, no worry my friend! 🙂 Oven ready lasagna, yeah…. I got schooled by my Son who went to culinary school. He said Mom, you have to add water to the sauce, for the noodles to absorb and become soft. shrug lol Who would've thought, not me! So I tried it the next time, and added 3/4 cup water to my sauce and it worked, yay! They were a little al dente' so next time I will use 1 whole cup of water. Hope the cooking tip helps. Hugs to you and the kids, Valerie
What did you use to sweeten your yogurt?
Hi you said something about some apple I water & salt how long do you soak them & they how you store them? Thank you so much
i always soak my oven ready noodles in boiling water for a little bit because theyre always hard
If you break those lanazana noodles up put on crockpot make lanazana soup they be soft
Great video. Hope you have a lovely Monday! 🌹❣️
I would absolutely crush those stale cookies and Graham crackers in the food processor, add sugar/brown sugar and melted butter for a crust. You could do a pudding pie, cheesecake or use them in parfaits.
I've found the no boil lasagne needs extra liquid or completely covered with sauce and extra baking time. They're a gimmick because I use regular lasagne noodles without boiling. I use a white sauce mixture and I think it might help my noodles cook too.
Have a blessed week.
Your pantry is cool
Yes to a February video I really enjoy all of your videos and I hope the house move goes well ❤🙂
