Growing up we never cooked or prepared the stalks
but someone said they tasted good when steamed
(but you should take off the outer skin)
so that is what I do now

Great batch meal prep video Maddie and are you glad to be home? Most of the recipes i make are ready within the 15 minutes to 30 minutes range with the exceptional recipe taking upto a 45 minutes to an hour but I refuse to make anything that takes longer than 1 hour (unless it's put in the slow cooker). I am with Maddie eating the stalks from the broccoli and it was cool that you grow some of your own plant foods in your garden (which I would encourage because I am biased when it comes to gardening 😆).
