That's a lot of meat for a recipe for cheap stew. The channel Tasting History with Max Miller has at least one episode that features poudre forte. I think he ground up the toast while dry first so it had a finer consistency, but I could be misremembering. Thoroughly enjoyed this video, and the intro.😂

I don't know a thing about Game of Thrones and I hope it always stays that way but even so, this is still an enjoyable video, especially that opening. Even without an understanding of that scene, I appreciate your evolving style of video content creation. I hope to see more expert acting in the future.

I think I cooked a chicken with honey from the authors' blog before they turned it into a cookbook. It was delicious! I really want this book, not because I'm a fan of Game of Thrones, but I want to try medieval dishes even if they're a bit edited to suit our modern tastes

Love your new intros, you aced the green screen this time xD As for the recipes, you've got the right move, if you feel something is wrong, then something is definitely wrong, sometimes people stick to the recipe but when recipes never say things like "if your dough is too sticky, add extra flour", yet, I almost always had to do this with success. Hi to "Miso wifey" too by the way xD. Last thing : overbaked bread is not really healthy, I am surprised they came out with this idea, there are a lot of brown and black bread available.

I have this book and I made several recipesfrom it. The beef & bacon pie and the Sisters stew were my personal favorites to make and the stew was my top. I highly recommend you try the stew.
