    In Kerala too, this is done everyday.
    Water is added to leftover rice n left overnight…we call it pazhakanjhi….next morning we have it with curd or fishcurry or simply wth birds eye chilli…yummy

    In Telangana also we eat this kind of rice call as 'Saddi annam'.
    And we don't throw away the starch. We ferment it overnight mix it with millet powder and buttermilk and have it for breakfast.
