I made fried chicken years ago and it was terrible. Now, this looks like a recipe I can probably master. I will try it with the honey & cinnamon.

If my chicken breast is really big, I use a big, heavy knife and cut it in half. And I use a bit of ginger in my chicken spices, but always soak in buttermilk.😊
An amazing meal, made on yet another amazing video. I so enjoy watching your videos, it's like sitting in a good friend's kitchen with a nice, hot cup of coffee – just talking!
I have always been afraid of frying chicken because my mother used high heat to fry, but you fry yours at a lower temp, then finish in the oven! Thank you for sharing your recipe! ❤️
I did the same as you when I started out cooking. Had no idea how to make good fried chicken. I appreciate your directions. I love your videos!❤
Where is the written ingredients? Thank you 😊
The quick version lacks . I much prefer the full version. You are a blessing .Thank you
Im Italian and I've tried for YEARS to make southern fried chicken I figured out I was making it too complicated….finally started making it right a couple years ago!
That looks delicious. I love watching your videos. Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.
What does the egg do for the chicken? I have never seen this idea, love your show!
Watching from Minnesota! My daddy was from Alabama and I recognize the cooking style. Love the food you make! Thanks and God bless!
I like to add cinnamon when I make fried potatoes
This looks delish. I’ll have to try it. You talk about Brett so much I feel like we need to meet him. 😊 Keep God First. ✝️
One thing I was taught early on…was listen to whatever you're cooking…it talks to ya. It'll let ya know when it's getting done😁
Question…How long do you leave it in the oven after initially frying? Thank you and 🙏💖💯‼
I love you ❤️❤️❤️
Great ideas especially for the seasoning!
this is very interesting
My Mom was an awesome Southern cook and made the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. I however can't make fried chicken to save my life (can't make biscuits either–I'm a failure as a Southern gal!) …. my Hubby always says "I had to marry the only Southern girl that can't cook fried chicken!!!!" After watching this video… I just might give it another try!!! You make it look so easy!! (PS… Mom didn't put hers in the oven and it was always perfect)
How long do you bake the chicken in the oven?
Just bought your cookbook. Why is one of your daughter's face covered with a spiral?? Strangest thing I've ever seen in a cookbook.
Great tips, great teacher and great recipe!!! 5 star episode. Thank you 😊
26 yrs trying to cook it for my husband. This is the real shebang
Opened up a lot of secrets to chicken!!! Absolutely FABULOUS!!! New project. Thank you for sharing your home cooking. 💎💎💎💎💎
I must say that that I'm so invested in your channel. Being from AUS, I love your style of cooking and will def try this. Also your laid back way of cooking (without the 100 new age ways of fancy cooking) is how my mum cooks. Thanks for the great tips in US cooking…..:)
That chicken looks soooooo good! I wish you were right next door to me!😉 I also love all your signs behind you – I have 1 word for all of them… Amen!
Your such a good teacher! Love all the extra tips. Thank you.

Thank you! I have struggled for YEARS to make fried chicken because I don't usually eat fried foods and wasn't raised with it. So…not great at making fried chicken but now I can try again now that you shared exactly how to do it!
Love this! Thank you for your tips!
I wish you were my neighbor, you are so friendly. Also your cooking skills are so GREAT!!!

Might be helpful if you give some tips on what to do in the event of a grease fire and what not to do.
Thanks for wonderful tips. Gonna get out grandma's fried chicken pan and try it!
I was thinking about fried chicken today and when I get home, what do I see? My mom and my paternal grandmother were amazing cooks but unfortunately as a kid, I was more interested in reading and crocheting. So, as a result, I never cooked until I was married and I knew nothing. Mom never tried to tempt me to watch what she was doing, I just enjoyed the results. I found her go to cookbook but it just doesn't give me the wonderful tips I am getting from you. The one recipe that I just can't duplicate is her Scalloped Potatoes. They were amazing! Mine are awful. Have you ever done that recipe? I would sure love to get your instructions on making them. Mom used to make so many of your recipes. I really wish I had had the foresight to learn how to cook from her but I can't tell you how lucky I felt when I found your channel.
