Man, you are inviting some serious hate! I went with the Crock Pot Express primarily because it was still $20 cheaper at Walmart and I'm not sold on how much I will use it. I tend to agree with much of what you said, the Crock Pot has the non-stick out of the box, and if you treat it right, it will last you the life of the machine. Just ask my 5 year old rice cooker still rocking it's original non-stick pot with nary a scratch! And the controls are intuitive and easy to adjust. Overall, being able to cook a turkey breast from frozen in 1.5 hours (total prep and all) is simply amazing!

I love my CrockPot multi-cooker; same as in the video). I am a man, originally from and from Wisconsin and later Minnesota, living in the south, but I still make winter warmup foods. Winter drys out the air so I don’t mind adding back humidity in the winter. Also there something comforting about having the kitchen filled with the smell of bone broth chicken, pot roast, etc when it’s freezing outside.
I tried my son’s Instant Pot and burned a shrimp dish I was making. I likely misunderstood the controls, but that’s kinda a problem with the unit right (?), like I said I’m a guy, and we don’t need no stinking directions. 😎

If the Crockpot had a ceramic inside like the original ones I would've been sold. I guess I will be purchasing the insta pot after all.
(I have the Wolfgang Puck pressure cooker, a crock pot/slow cooker already) now I'll add this to my cooking arsenal.

I purchased the Express Pot because the company is well established. I did not realize there was a difference in the pans until I heard it mentioned in another review. I am sure both Crock and Instant Pot are fine. I have heard people say good things about both of them, so either is probably a good choice. The reviews do seem to favor Crock Pot though.

I bought the crock pot and am loving it. However, finding accessories is much more difficult. I am wondering if anyone knows if the instapot accessories like the springform will fit inside the crockpot multicooker??

Perfect example for why social media doesn’t work and the bandwagon mentality will cause you headaches. The instant pot that everyone is talking about is overrated. I returned it and got the power quick pot and is way easier to use and more intuitive.

I have the Instantpot and this cooker works fantastic. The stainless steel inner does not stick as you will have to put water in to cook food at high pressure which prevents any gumming anyway. This thing works like a diesel engine and its also silent.
