What type of grade B did you use, Madagascar or Tahitian?
190 proof food grade ethanol works the best. I only use that. And it isn't necessary to split the beans.

Your recipe is different then literally every recipe on the web and I feel it is the closest to how extract makers actually make it. I’m seeing the heat in your recipe is the thing that sets it apart and I’m betting you make a better, richer and stronger vanilla that way. One thing you didn’t mention Is what manual pressure level you are using? High or low? Thank you so much!
Ps. Your ratio is off according to the FDA standard. It should be 378 gr vanilla to every 3785 gr ETOH of no less than 35%. Essentially a 1/10 ratio.
