Good video however I better things to do than clean 2 cooking devices. I opt out of using the grill since that what the instapot is for😂 btw I have had an error show up either.

My mum has Parkinson’s. While she enjoys steak, she has increasing difficulty to eat steak without choking risk. This texture is really good and I’ll be sure to try the pressure cooking technique. Thanks for sharing!

Why didn't you just leave the ribeye in the george foreman for about 5 minutes for a tender taste?
Because I tried this tutorial and it was a sham. Adding this to the pressure cooker only overcooked it. It tasted very chewy.

Thank you Doug! I just got my first Instant Pot (Ultra 60). I normally like to grill my steak, but needed to find a way to cook some that are a little tough. Though of my new IP and landed here. Very helpful, looks delicious and so simple.

seems like a lot of work, sear on one thing then IP for 15min…be quicker on a grill or GF grill for that matter…wouldn't it have been better to use the trivet rather than setting it down in water? idk

Looking good Doug. I hear you the meats come out more tender when you pressure cook. I do this all the time in my Instant Pot Ultra 6t. I love how it comes out. I do brown mine in my instant pot because I have two pot inserts and swap them. What I did instead of A1 I used a package of Au Jus Gravy Mix.
