I wonder if it was the bean trio that made the chili a hit? Either way I am glad everybody loved it enough that fhe leftovers were willingly eaten. I always feel like that is the true test for us when I try something new. If we weren't interested in leftovers the next day it wasn't a true "hit."
In NZ we don't call them burners or eyes, we call the elements. 🙃

Good evening ya'll. My husband and I had cajun chicken pasta for dinner tonight. Your dinners looked so good. Loved the dancing from Titus and Jonah. We always called them eyes when I was a child but when I moved to Washington state from down south everyone here calls them burners. Great family!

They are "eyes." I have used McCormick's chili seasoning packet for years. It's a good base. You can always use less of the packet or add more spices to suit your taste. 🧡🍁
