I can't wait to make this with strawberries next weekend! I'd make it this weekend but I am too busy to get to it now! I wonder how good a mix with rum it would make! I may find out! I, too, have a couple of different sealing rings because I love the spicier things most of the time and the savory stuff doesn't flavor the sweet stuff very well! Both of mine are the clear ones but my 6-qt. savory one is the one that gets used the most and it's obvious but the 8-qt.'s ring is much lighter! Thanks for this one!!! I'll let you know how it goes!
