This time I wanted to try making a sweet red bean soup dessert using my Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker. I love this dessert …
Thank you very much for posting this. Its one of my favorite childhood Chinese desserts. I made it for Chinese/lunar new year this year 2020. Although, I didn’t put enough sugar, but that’s OK. Next time. Happy lunar new year!
Great tutorial!!! Thank you. This will be my first recipe to make with my new Instant Pot 🙂
This is a kid level video.
One suggestion is you could break up brown sugar stick to smaller blocks, it will dissolve much faster. Good job,
I saw gray goose jack daniel
Do you pre-soak the red bean first?
It is wonderful>>>arah.in/rBVl I can make dishes in minutes. What used to take me hours now is incredibly fast. In love with my instant pot. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It has simplified my life and now I have more free time to do more.
DON’T pressure cook the beans WITH the brown sugar.
It taste weird, because the sugar ends up all in the bean. And taste bland when you put it in your mouth.
Just follow Kewty’s recipe.
Great video. I love the way you made the red beans. I have to watch my sugar intake so I put the sugar after I dish it out. But thanks for sharing your video. And I subscribed to your channel as I want to cook with the IP more.
Thank you so much for your video. The only change I did was put the IP on sautée mode when it was time to add the brown sugar. It took about 2 mins for the soup to start bubbling and the sugar melted in about 5 mins.
You've got a case of the HRT or Uptalk. Not as bad as some but you do have it and need to work on getting rid of it.
Aren't those adzuki beans? They don't look like red beans.
How come you are writing Chinese in the title? If the bean is still intact, it is not quite 紅豆沙yet. Wonder how much longer it takes to achieve that.
hey you can make money. become an amazon affiliate and add a link to the products that you use. thanks for your video
How many servings does one cup of beans yield? Also have you tried adding tapioca pearls as restaurants do? I'm trying to figure when the pearls would be added.
Thanks for sharing! Just subscribed to your channel.💕I'm trying out your recipe but with black beans:)
Hey, can I add some Jack Daniels to give the beans a kick? You got it on your counter.
Thanks for this. If you just want to use regular loose brown sugar, how much do you think you would use?
If you want to cut down on sugar try using a monk fruit sweetener like Lakanto. I use it in cooking and it is fantastic. Love your video. Will have to try your recipe. Keep the videos coming.
