Thanks so excited, cooking beans for the first time in my new pressures cooker😁
Very helpful. I found your video so I can make the pinto beans, thank you.
Thanks for all the comments about cooking them longer, I am cooking them for 55 mins tonight.
There is no way NO way on planet earth in any pressure cooker for dry beans to be done in 35 minutes.. none !!!!!!!!!!! even with 1 hour pressure and a natural release of pressure. the beans will NOT ever be soft and done… I have done 60 , 70, 80 . and even 90 minutes full pressure…. never ever are they done in 35 minutes……
Teaspoon m no way on tablespoon…
She does not know how to cook a pot of beans. She did not check the beans for rocks/dirtballs. she did not soak the beans for some hours, changing the water at least one. She did not add pork or veggie bacon bits. Add salt after cooking or the skins will be tough. She forgot pepper.
What do you guys eat with the beans?
This was just what I was looking for, thanks.
Add three cubes chicken bullion and cook Under pressure for 60 minutes.
Thanks for the video. Something I do that you might like– rather than free-pouring salt ( or spices)- I almost always pour the salt into my palm to verify the amount first, then put it in the recipe. Easy and controlled. Also when putting salt on already cooked food, I put it in my palm them rub the palms together over the food to distribute it evenly across the top rather than using a shaker. It really lets you have a direct sense of the amount you are putting on, without dragging out the measuring spoons.
Sooo helpful. Just how I make my beans. Definitely leaving them in for 45min! Thank you! ❤️
I first put the pot on saute mode add sofrito( Puerto Rican mix of blended onions, garlic, peppers, cilantro, cilantro. Etc.) Add 1 bullion cube, 1 tbsp tomato paste, mix until well incorporated. Then add the water and beans and cumin. Put pot on beans setting. Perfect beans everytime. I add chopped cilantro at the end to up that flavor.
Good job…mine are in the pot now.
Thank you, Claudia. This definitely helped me! I am grateful!
