Actually, the 90% heat loss comes from your head statistic stems from a badly flawed US Army study. It is actually way less than that. The actual loss is more like 10%.

"In reality, the relative amount of heat you lose from your head will vary, depending on a few factors: the clothing you wear, your physical activity level, and the various bodily functions that govern temperature regulation. It’s true that there may be some situations in which one might lose a tremendous amount of relative body heat through the head, such as when it’s the only uncovered part of the body. But in general, the head isn’t a significant area of heat loss—at least not disproportionately more so than any other part of the body."

Can't wait for the cookbook! I like the regular couscous better. I've had the pearl couscous a couple times and I liked it, but I found myself trying to chew each pearl individually for some weird reason. And man that can take some time! 😅

I was glad to purchase the kindle version. It’s great to have all the recipes together. It’s such a little price to pay for you sharing your recipes. This way I can also share them with my sons who use the instant pots I bought them. They are good cooks too! Must be the french DNA. I too really like the smashed potatoes recipe. A great big thank you to Dude for his support in making the videos. He is a very loving husband. I am also thankful for my husband who has helped me from illness to illness for the last 3 years. From cornea transplants to broken foot to endometrial cancer. I have just been been given my first clean CT scan. I am under scrutiny for 2 years. Again thanks for sharing your life!

Took a peek at the ebook and as I scrolled down the recipe list, I said aloud, "Made it, made it, made it…" many times! When I saw "Bouillabaisse", it was a 'que the heavenly choir' moment. I can not wait to order the paperback! Oh, love the short hairdo!

Flo, you need a bench knife for when you are chopping veggies like that…it will save the blade of your chef's knife and make getting everything off the board so much easier! We are vegetarians and use pearl couscous all the time…:-)

Flo, I LOVE your hair do. It totally suits the frame of your face. Since I got seriously ill several years ago, most of my beautiful long red hair has fallen out, and that is depressing. I don’t have a vain bone in my body, but losing so much weight along with the hair loss has totally changed my appearance. Most people that I’ve known for years don’t recognize me at first glance anymore. So, forgive my whining and just know that your beautiful hair is so lovely on you. By the way… this recipe is going on my go to’s. It is totally healthy and I can taste it already. Thanks, Flo. Blessings on your day and Happy Father’s Day to Mr. Dude. Cannot WAIT for the cookbook! Jo
