Thank you Tammy I am making these now in insta pot ❣️❣️❣️
I subscribed to your channel last week and have been thoroughly enjoying the videos. I have learned a lot from you. I made the oat groats last night and they were delicious. To me, they tasted like farro, which I love.
Thank you for sharing!
Really helpful tips thanks God bless you.
Made! Worked perfectly 👍
here's my question… i want to do this with rye berries. i don't know the cook time or water ratio.
Big fan of oat groats! I cook 2C groats, 5C DIY cold broth (add water if not enough broth available), finely chopped fairly large onion, lots of garlic finely chopped, some ginger, a few shallots to a large steel bowl, put 1-2 inches water in the 6-quart IP insert, and do 45M high pressure. When it's done, I add the acorn squash that I steamed previously in IP (separate the seeds because they're fabulous roasted) and I add other stuff to the groat/acorn squash bowl during the week. Soooo good!!
If you want to eat it like oatmeal just add more water in the morning and do a second round in the instant pot. Thru get creamy like oatmeal.
Great video! My only constructive criticism would be don't stare at the camera for so long in the intro. It was creepy lol.
Helpfulntips. I love that huge teakettle!
Do you reheat them ever? I'm not a fan of the microwave – I don't even own one.
Wonderful video. Thank you! I’m so excited to try this.
Steel cut oats andgroats are the best but been eating oatbran every morning great video 👍 keep up the good work
I love that you said good better best! That’ll stick with me😊
I want these to be ready in the morning for me. If I used delayed start it would mean my groats would be soaked for a while (cold water) so how much water should I use for 1 cup of oats and how long should I cook?
If making in a six cup, could you use pot-in-pot as with steel cut oats?
I have made this so many times now, I love this method, it's so delicious, thank you for sharing!
Made the oat groats just as you instructed. They are delish. Will incorporate them in my meals as I am like you….have higher than I like LDL…thanks and enjoy all your videos..and Tom too!
Tried this today & it burnt!
LOVE your website. I have learned so much! Also…can you tell me what brand of glasses you are wearing? They look so beautiful on you – almost as if you are not wearing any glasses at all – and I'd like to find the same type frames. Thanks for your GREAT website and your very clear directions on all your recipes you make!
I put the water in the ipad and hit the sauté till hot and works faster.
Do you leave the keep warm mode on for the two hours?
