When cooking roasts or any sort of meat in the Instant Pot I ALWAYS use the pressure cook setting and let the pressure release naturally. Once it's done cooking,just let it sit. DO NOT release the pressure. Wait until your pressure pin is down on your lid(this will take around 30-40 minutes depending on how much liquid is in your pot). It will come out slow cooker tender this way! I hope this helps you sweet lady! Much love from VA!
It's the time of year to get out the slow cooker. Don't have an instapot though. I have a pressure cooker I've never used. It is a scary appliance! Your supper is going to be delicious! Btw, a big NO to giving up the sweet tea! Wine of the south.

So happy your shoulder mobility has improved! I have an insta pot but don’t use it very often. It’s the mini version-too small really. I’m thinking of getting another slow cooker. I lost mine in the flood waters of Harvey and never replaced it. Take care!

When the left overs are not enough for family you can add some can tomatoes and some rice or small pasta and turn it into soup. No waste.
That roast looks good and with all those veggies it is beautiful.

I haven't used my instant pot for a while I'm going to have to get it out and start using it. We have a strip club called the fox hole I can probably get a job there dancing just saying

Been using instant pot about three years. Love it. Just a tip . When doing things with liquids don’t quick release. Let it slow release about 10 mins before releasing.
Reason for waiting when you quick release the liquids spew out. Letting it slow release for just a few minutes the liquids settle down and no spewing.
