What’s the point of cooking it in a instant pot, if you still put it in the oven. Trying for non oven for RV cooking without a oven available or at home when you don’t want to use your oven

Kohls has steam pots for the 6 qt, but 1 can fit one in my 3qt. Works great! I made meatloaf in mine a couple of days ago, but should have left it in longer. The onions & bell pepper didn't cook through. I'm still on a learning curve. Will have to try the potatoes. 👍

I've got an 8 qt. IP- and the meatloaf fits nicely into an aluminum pie plate, which fits nicely inside the pot. Drain the grease, glaze the meatloaf (I like Heinz Chili Sauce), and pop that sucker into the toaster oven while mashing up the potatoes.

Trying this tonight! Looks delicious 😋 Also to all instapot owners buy yourselves some binder clips to keep your pot from spinning while you stir!!!

I used to work at a state park and when the weather was bad they put us up. The IP would have been much cheaper to bring in with food. They supply in many rooms now a refrigerator so you could keep your food in there until ready to make up and eat or keep your food cold in a cooler on the balcony if they have one. You could always call ahead when making the reservation and ask. Save a lot of money for sure.

If you work the front desk ,like I did, and the power goes out they always have an axillary power plug in no problem. I saved my box with a carrying handle so pack it up and save some money on meals.

Thank you for the recipe. I love cooking my potatoes in my insta pot too. I especially love cooking potatoes and eggs at the same time if I am making a potato salad. I tell my husband all the time it is one of the best Christmas gifts he could have ever purchased for me. It makes life so simple especially by reducing the cooking time spent on meals. I brag to everyone that they need to purchase one because it is such a time saving device. Have a wonderful day.
