I used the IP second time now to cook goulash. I found it very hard to get the meat to brown. I had about 1.3 lbs of stew meat and put it all in. After watching your video, I do have a question simply because I was unaware of the heating time. So help me understand this. You turn on the IP Saute function and then let it sit there until it says "HOT" in the display? So you don't put the oil in right away, but when it says "HOT"? Also, is 1.3lbs of stew meat too much for the surface of the pot? I noticed there was a lot of moisture in the pot after I added all the meat and that seemed to interfere with the browning a bit. Please help. I'm such a noob to cooking. Thanks.
