I don't have all the spices just curry powder which is the the combination of all the spices so used that instead. I used this as a base and used both carrots and potatoes and 3 carrots and 3 potatoes and about 3-4 cups of water. Turned bad. Just a curry smelling broth and flavorless vegetables. I drained the broth and added about 3 more tablespoons of curry powder but it didn't change the flavor at all somehow. I don't understand it, the extra curry powder should have fixed it.

Curry leaves, I made this today with cauliflower with the potatoes, turned out great!
Potato curry is also tasty with butter-sauteed carrot slices and green peaa stirred in.
