A little complicated to use do7.pl/instant but worth the effort to learn. Quick cooking times make traditional crock pot recipes possible with minimal planning ahead. Results are delicious. Must have for busy families that want healthy meals!

I use a combination of Granny and Macintosh. I know you kids don't like grannies but the Macintosh changes the flavor. I put lemon juice, brown sugar cinnamon, and honey. Then I mash it with a potato masher. And bottle it and pressure cook it. And this is what I use for my pie fillings. I make it very chunky!

You could cut up a few pears and add to your apples for sweetness too. I made apple butter & peach butter and pear butter last fall – and the pears are super sweet when cooked, so I also mDe apple pear butter and peach pear butter- a little cinnamon and they were perfect

If you can find them, AMBROSIA apple variety is so very flavorful and naturally sweet! Usually can only find them in late December or through January, but BOY they made me like apples “plain” again. Since the flavor is so intense, I wouldn’t add cinnamon, just maybe a couple drops of lemon juice. I gotta try this!

Thanks so much for this. I bought a bag of small gala apples a couple of days ago that have absolutely no flavor or sweetness at all! I never saw anything like it. Maybe I can salvage them this way.
