    Just a tip, you don't have to rinse rice when it comes to Spanish rice. You actually saute the rice with onions till the rice gets a little toasted and some of the grains break open. Then add liquid and seasonings.

    I'm feeding around 25 high schoolers tonight. Do you think doubling to 8 cups would work out ok and be the right amount? Doing a taco bar and thought rice as a wide would be a nice addition.

    good video one tip use hot water and mix your seasonings into the hot water first and then pour over your rice. your pot will come up to temp faster with the hot water and your seasonings won't clump.

    I tried it out and we loved the flavor….I just added fresh chopped onion, tomato, minced garlic and lemon juice….but my troubling area is idk why my rice comes out sticky in instant pot… anyone know why? It doesn’t happen to me on the stove though

    Thank You so much,, for your video,, i have made many times mexican rice on stove top,, but i had no idea of how to cook it on instant pot.. The restaurant accross the street makes it on instant pot , but i did not know how….A million thanks to You,,, i can now prepare it, on electric pressure cooker.

    I used the recipe and technique for a work event I had to make two pans like the ones in the video and it went by so fast!!!! Rice came out amazing of course I add little bit more seasonings and onion and bell peppers:)

    tried to make this exact recipe but with brown rice, only two cups of rice and two cups of water. when i presses rice it set itself to 10 minutes. when i opened it there was still water and the rice looked hard 😞 i’m trying another 10 minutes, hopefully it doesn’t burn

    Again with this Instant Pot!!! I always have a hard time with rice. It's always a good idea to rinse your rice. My husband used to be a salesperson for a rice company and it's a good idea (for health reasons). I LOVE Mexican rice so I will try this but obviously just in a rice cooker, ha ha. Great video guys!
