How messy is it when you release the pressure? I usually get a geyser of water that rains starch everywhere.
I've not yet tried cooking tortellini in a pressure cooker. I did the Mac and Cheese…eh 😕 not that good, it was dry. Getting the right amount of water is a bit fiddly. Too much it's to sloppy and tastes weak, to little and it sticks to the pot bottom and becomes bin filler.
You have take in account the sudden moisture Loss as steam when opening the vent. I want to try the 3 minute noodles one day.
Have you tried popping corn in the instant pot?
