I've tried other youtuber's corned beef IP recipes. Yours is is now my go-to favorite because it's straight forward and produced the results I was after: all around flavor, tenderness, and visual appeal. I didn't want my corned beef quite as done as yours so only did 70 minutes on high pressure and it came out fork tender 😋. I love Guinness so might try that next time instead of water for added depth of flavor.

Just a little tip. You can press "and hold" the timer up button and it will count up automatically so you dont have to go through 4 minutes of beepbeepbeep…

If you strain the liquid before you put the vegetables in you won't get peppercorns and such things in the soft potatoes and cabbage. It's no fun bitting on those when you don't expect them.

Love corned beef but not boiled in water. I roast mine in a roaster. Veggies, big can of beer, spices. 375° for 2 hrs. Take veggies and meat out and add cabbage 1/4 cut. Put in oven until done add a Tbsp of raw apple cider vinegar and sprinkle on cabbage. To die for!

I love your video. I've been watching corned beef and cabbage videos. It seems like almost everyone is overcooking their cabbages. I, myself, don't like soggy cabbages so I cook it last by steaming in another Instant pot (3-quart) for 10-15 mins.

A dinner like this doesn't get old. Its March 8, 2019…I've never made a brisket but now have the Instant Pot and I'm not as afraid of meat as I normally would be without it. I'm going to give this a try. I have done the cabbage and potatoes….beautiful! Know what my mom used to do? She boiled the cabbage, potatoes and carrots, and meat (can't swear it was corned beef, however, sounds a bit out of our budget), but she used water and no seasoning packet, just her own 'good cook sense' of salt and pepper. (Come to think about it now…there may have been some other seasonings used, but because the 5 of us kids drank it..it would have been few if any). And on the Sunday table (it only was done on a Sunday), were we ALL had the 'good' cups and saucers, because the fluid in the pot was called, "Pot Liquor" and was poured out of the 'good' coffee pot that went with the 'good' dishes. Served like a hot beverage, along with the meal on plates, not bowls….HEAVEN…the whole thing! The pot liquor had the rich pure flavor of the cabbage. lol. I really am going to have to try this! Thanks for the idea from the thumbnail! : )

Great video and quite mouth watering. I definitely prefer your recipe of all the recipes I've seen so far. Have you ever cooked the same dish is a slow cooker (crock pot)? Happy St Patty's Day.

Well I am sure your veggies turned out mush.. And if you just hold down the up or down buttons they will set your clock buttons faster than hitting it singularly with each increment. The handles on the side of the Instant Pot act as a lid holder for right or left handed use. And I surely would not drown our dinner like that.

Love your common sense detailed explanation on how to cook with a Pressure Cooker. I take the same approach when i use my PC. And I like my corned beef and cabbage just the way you make it. Keep up the great videos.
