From Florida – I would love to make this chicken dish – could you please walk me through your steps (like how you got so much chicken stock in the bottom, when it was completed) do you add chicken bullion, or other stock ? It looks so delicious (I almost stopped today at store to pick up a โ€œwhole chickenโ€ ) but I will wait for your comment – so I donโ€™t screw it up ๐Ÿ˜œ

I bought one based on your recommendation a few years ago. It's one of the best things I ever bought. I eat "healthy" things now that I never ate before like cabbage, turnips, yams, etc. because it does such a good job of cooking them. It also does a fantastic job cooking cheap/tough cuts of meat. Like you, I also add more cooking time to what the instruction book recommends.

I coat my chicken in butter and bacon grease and let it sit in a beer bath overnight in the fridge. The next day I deep fry it in lard. You get the best fry if it's in a cast iron kettle….otherwise it'll look like something the dog drug under the porch. My grandma's recipe.
