Re: Pot Soak – Key to cleaning ANY Appliance (especially Coffee Pot) is with VINEGAR and BAKING SODA – the combo creates a very cool, bubbling action that scrubs Stains away & neutralizes scents

I kinda demolished my inner pot after incorrectly sautéing something. I didn't really expect to get it clean. At least not easily. Vinegar soak = brand new. Easy as anything

My favorite kitchen cleaning utensil is a toothbrush. My favorite cleaning solution is a 50/50 blend of Dawn Dish Soap and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle.

Wonder if one could plop the soiled silicon sealing ring in the pot (Of coarse with a second clean silicon sealing ring on the lid) during the vinegar steam clean?

I used a mildew cleaner, which is a bleach solution, and sprayed it in the pot. Because the stuff is organic, the bleach just dissolved it all off after letting it sit a few minutes, and because the pot is stainless steel, it doesn't corrode.

I just recently bought an instant pot. Since then, I’ve used it consistently. Had no second thoughts giving up the crock pot. Having an extremely fast, yet juicy and tender meal in less than hour is awesome. Had me hooked at the first meal.

Thank you for such a helpful video. My question is the condenser cup. I removed it to wash it, but I can't get it back on. I have the 3 quart Duo Mini Instant Pot. Please and thank you.

I washed it with soap and some diluted vinegar but it dries with a sticky film is there anything I can do in between washes that will help prevent it?

This lovely lady needs Norwex cloths to clean quicker and more efficiently with JUST WATER. Their Microfiber removes 99% of bacteria from a surface and has microsilver imbedded in the fibers for self-purification. I was cringing when she grabbed that old sponge. Breeding ground for bacteria! She just swiped bacteria all over her Instant Pot. 🤢😷 There IS a better way to clean without harsh chemicals. 😄

To clean the ridge use a dollar store spongy makeup wedge. To de-scent the silicone sealing ring, after washing the ring, rinse the wedge and dip it into dollar store imitation vanilla and rub it all over the ring and especially into the groove and allow to air dry.
