Instant Pot Chinese Pork Tenderloin

For more great Instant Pot recipes, please visit InstantPotEasy.com

If there’s one thing people have requested I make, it’s pork (I did make a Moo Shu Pork but that’s a totally different cut of the meat). And it’s about time I did already because I. LOVE. PORK. (don’t tell my rabbi).  And who doesn’t love a pork tenderloin?  It’s such a magnificent and affordable cut of meat that has many similarities to a brisket…except it’s pork.

It’s one of those things you can do a million different things with but seeing as how much I absolutely love Chinese food (as evidenced by the Moo Shu Pork, Lo Mein and Soup Dumpling recipes), it was all too obvious I was going to make this pork tenderloin with a serious Chinese flavor!

And I’m not kidding, kids.  This sauce is literally one of the best I’ve ever come up with and once you taste it poured over that mega-tender and fall-apart pork that also cooked in it, it may usher the Chinese New Year in earlier than expected.

So, pork lovers, get ready to add another to the rotation!  It’s not just pork tenderloin, it’s Chinese Pork Tenderloin!

I’ve made this many many times. Just a great serving idea for everyone: cook a pot of Uncle Bens converted rice and place cooked rice onto a nice sized serving platter. Place this pork tenderloin on top of the rice and drizzle the liquid over the pork and the rice. Place cooked asparagus and/or Brussels sprouts (or whatever green crunchy vegetable you like) around the rice.

Presentation alone of this dish will make you tops.

Don't tell my Rabbi! You are funny. Many years ago my then boss and a group of us went to lunch. She ordered lobster. I looked at her I suppose a little funny and she said "Don't tell David"!

So good! My youngest kept going 'Mmmmmm' all the way through supper. 😋 This is going to become another favorite. Served with Hibachi fried rice! Oh, yeah!

Okay I just finally made this tonight and wow !!!! Its awesome. I marinated my pork for 48 hrs instead of 24, served it over brown rice with Asian veggies and I love it. The flavor of the pork even without the glaze is phenomenal and once you add the glaze …. so so so good

Sofa. King. Good! 😁 Made this for dinner tonight. It was supposed to be for last night, but a migraine came to call (so an extra day marinating).
This was really easy and incredibly good. (I'm not someone who cooks pork much and this makes me think I should rethink that.) This is going into my 'will make again' list. 👍

Jeff. This was everything you said. Best meat I have ever eaten. Could you do a recipe using beef tenderloin? I assume it would come out just as tender. Thank you for all your recipes.

Looks great and I love your reactions every time you taste the final product… Though it would be funny if one day you tasted one of your dishes.and said “um it’s not that great and I’m not that happy with this one, but you guys are all free to give it a try!”
