I have an 8qt and and I tried to double it and got a burn notice. I already had a bunch of stuff stuck to the bottom already after sautéing the chicken I had to scrub the stuff off so after I sealed it and got that burn notice I just threw it all out. Apparently I did something wrong I don’t see the point in having an 8qt if I can’t double recipes but I guess we’re having take out tonight!
Tried it… It was DELICIOUS 😋
I keep getting this "burn" error… Even when everything in there is moist and ready to go… Frustrating😫

The rice looks a little soggy, otherwise it looks like good fried rice. I prefer my rice “not soggy”.
And they said we cant make fried rice in instant pot lol

i cook this in my normal pan and it takes the same time …so what the difference I don't get it?
Did you soak or rinse the rice first? I normally cook Basmati rice 1 cup to 1.25 cups clear liquid (broth or water or wine). You cooked 2 c rice to 3 cups liquid. You do this normally? I find when u do that the rice is soggy. I have a 6 qt Duo.
Could you double this recipe? Would be great for potluck. Would also be great with brown rice and quinoa!!
Did you rinse the rice before adding it into the Instant Pot?
No need to clean stove and pan/wok. God ! I need to get this instant pot so I can just cook a small amount of fried rice.

When you put the rice in the pot it was already cooked, right?
Why not just add the frozen vegetables when you added the rice? I do it all the time to get Rice N Peas Mon

Wow! This looks awesome. I love chicken fried rice, but most places seem to favor the pork fried rice or the other ones. And I honestly never get to have it anyway because it cost too much so I only order this like once a year. I did not know how easy I could make this at home! Thank you so much!
