    Never heard of adding carrots , and potatoes to this. Also It's a much simpler dish than you just described. No to chicken stock . This is how I learned from my Nagymama ( Grandmother) in Hungary. You saute chopped onion's in lard or oil.. Add chopped pepper's . Take off the heat then add Hungarian Paprika, stir well. Put back on the heat then add tomatoes. Stir well again. Add chicken pieces , salt and black pepper. Simmer a few minutes till juices from chicken let out. add some water just enough to cover. Then put lid on and simmer on low for an hour or till chicken is tender… At then end you add the flour and sour cream mix. Stir till it mixes well. Jo Etvagat..
