Wonderful recipe! I added some cashews and frozen peas after the natural release. The flavor and spice was amazing. And chicken thighs just fell apart. Definitely will make again!
Jeff, I made this for my mum and I today and it was the most delicious biryani I ever made, with the perfect level of spice for us (I omitted the cayenne). Thank you!
That looks delicious. I've been participating in a Meal Train and I think that is the sort of dish that the family I'm helping out would enjoy. I'm going to make a test run to see if I think their kindergartener will enjoy it this coming weekend. I've been trying to find recipes that they all can eat since there are severe food allergies in the family (so no nuts for them!) But I think raisins might make a lovely add-in.
There was a time where going out for a meal was a treat. We've reduced out trips to restaurants to once a month or even less. Prices have gotten to where we can't justify it any longer… don't even mention scammy delivery services like Uber Eats and Door Dash.
Oh Jeff! I was talking to my friend at work today who’s from Kerala. We talked about lime pickle and wonderful biryani! Then I come home to your recipe! I’d add more fresh coriander and mint, but, as ever, it’s a showstopper. ❤
This looks pretty tasty. I will have to get some Basmati rice for it, since I don't have any in the house at the moment (5 OTHER kinds of rice, but not that one!) but I have everything else. Time to try a new recipe! (The Sausage Curls recipe is a HUGE favorite in this house, to the point that the recipe is just attached to the front of the fridge with magnets, pretty much permanently.)
I too have all your cookbooks, Jeffrey. I make stuff from them all the time. Looking forward to trying this recipe (might even happen later today)! I tried a recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala in the Instant Pot recently and it turned out amazingly well.
Looks delicious. How about a taco soup recipe

You can also use citric acid to clean that pot😂
This looks delicious!! We just got a new Indian market in my town, I look forward to shopping for th3se ingredients!❤😊
Fantastic Jeffrey! I add potatoes 🥔 to mine too.

Hey Jeff, what are your qualifications to be a cook book author? Culinary school, worked in kitchens, etc.
I made this for dinner tonight, and it is fabulous!
This was a hit today. Thanks for sharing.
This was delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe
How long would I pressure cook using brown rice? This looks delicious, I can almost smell and taste it through the video screen.
Abfab
Chicken biryani is a PITA to make, but can’t wait to try this!
Spelled biryani, he chooses to say BRIyani, bold move
Can we have the dil pickle dip recipe please?
I’m so going to make this! 😊
I've got a load of leftover turkey in the freezer from Christmas. This would work well with the brown meat too.
Look amazingly good.
Can you make in the future, Mullgatawny soup? It’s another amazing Indian dish 😊

Looks absolutely fabulous. Some of the biryanis that I have had add mint and serve it with raita. Definitely going to try this one. Thanks!
Bay leaves make red sauce amazing
This looks very similar to the Chicken Rice Shawarma recipe… which I made last night and am about to heat up some leftovers of right now.

Thank you for making my suggestion. I'm pumped to try it

Recipe looks great. Thanks.
I'm shocked you didn't mention the new cookbook that comes out in September even though it isn't a instantpot cookbook. ( Pastabilities)
Yummy!
Hope you're working on another cookbook with this in it I already have the other 4 books
