My husband bought me the Instant Pot 6 quart Duo 7 in 1 for Christmas. Used it the first time tonight making your chicken and dumplings and it was a huge hit. However, like most first time users I had several anxiety attacks throughout the process….lol. after pressed the soup button function according to your instructions, it seemed to take forever and I mean a long time for the pot to come up to pressure to start the 7 minute countdown, I kept thinking….was I suppose to press the pressure cook button first then the soup button. But It did eventually come to pressure and the 7 minute countdown started. I guess exercising patience is the key.
