I didn't see you remove the beef and then you say 'dump it back into the pot.' what do you mean? strain the meat, get rid of the juice it's cooking in?
I made this yesterday so yummy I only used 1 onion and a pack of lupton onion soup mix and I put a bit of Lowry's season salt to the beef before browning

Great video. It gave me a new idea: using 2 steps to do beef stew: step 1: 30' to stew; step 2: 5' to stew potatoes, carrots and onions. Great idea.
I am new to instant pot. I would appreciate receiving your instructions on how to stew beef tongue whose skin has already been peeled. I have an IP DUO Plus. I am not looking for an "ingredient" recipe (what to put in the stew.) I have doing beef tongue stew for years the old fashion way (non-pressure way.) I'm looking for suggestions on what function, how much time, etc. to select on my Instant Pot. Hope I made myself clear. Thanks.

wish people would give recipes for one or two people, not 6 or 8. here I go again trying to convert into a smaller version of same. however, it sounds good.

I just got my wife and I an instant pot, I got the dream job of stay at home parent, and I love to cook. I would like to see your take on Beef Stroganoff, if I could make it as good as her mom I would get employee of the month!
I did mostly the same except I use red wine and beef stock. Also a good shot of Worchester sauce. I put some flour, onion powder, garlic salt on the beef before Browning also I did use celery. And some garlic cloves. I'm just waiting on it to cook hope it turns out good
