Thank you for doing cups and spoon measurements, it makes it really easy for international viewers. I understand people using ounces and fluids ounces but converting that gets tedious and defeats the purpose of quick or easy recipes.

I made this tonight. This is hands down the best beans and rice I’ve ever had! This will be a staple recipe for me! I threw everything in the pot and pressure cooked it. I didn’t sauté the onions and garlic first.

Love your recipes and Fuhrman's Nutritarian gospel of eating healthier foods. My only concern with this specific recipe is with the use of Better Than Bouillion. Any food or additive that contains hydrolyzed protein is a derivative of MSG. Not good for sufferers of asthma or migraine headaches. I do appreciate that you mentioned an alternative (i.e. 3 cups+3 cups of vegetable broth). Also, love the salad dressings! Thank you, GG!

I am a little confused. Were the beans you used canned beans? I ask because dry beans usually take over 40 min in the instant pot. So because you only cooked for 30 min they must have been canned beans, right?

Outstanding job…. I have been looking for a recipe where I could just throw the beans and rice in together. This one looks great. Thanks so much for sharing.

I am new to the instant pot world and I tried this recipe tonight….I followed the instructions to the T and it didn’t turn out well…it was soupy and the rice was over cooked….I wondered what I did wrong because your final product looked delicious

Great recipe! I made this tonight. So quick and easy. Just curious, though – what size is your instant pot? Mine came out a bit drier and cooked than yours looked. I wonder if that is because my instant pot is a different size or model, and I may need to adjust amount of liquid or cooking time. Either way, it tastes great!
