Your pot roast looks good! I am glad that you seared it first: searing meat adds so much flavor.
I think that the mustard, brown sugar, etc. would be very delicious together.
I don't see many recipes with Accent–usually just Southern recipes, but even then it's not super common–so I was surprised to see that.
Once again, great recipe! I need an instant pot!

Oh my. This looked so easy & delicious. I wonder if I would actually LIKE the faint taste of the vinegar instead of adding the sugar. Have you ever made a pot roast with vinegar & no sugar?

Looks great Rick! I love Pot Roast. As a matter of fact, I am making Pot Roast just like yours except in the crock pot, with mashed potatoes, and green beans for my Christmas Eve dinner. I also bought a case of wine from QVC to give as gifts and to keep for myself. If you want quality wine at a good price QVC is the place.

Accent makes everything better! I made the mistake of buying some bulk cheap MSG on Amazon and it did nothing like accent does! I'm now going to get the Sam's Club size of accent and when people ask me like my home care workers what's that I say a flavor enhancer. The double-blind peer-reviewed studies from major medical centers and medical schools have now found that MSG does absolutely nothing negative there is no link between a headache or anything else from MSG. My mother said it gave her a headache. Well for the last two years of her life I cooked for her and she ate it daily. When I told her she said well it must have been something else that gave me the headache. Now because of all of this hysteria we have lost decent Chinese food because they all advertised they are MSG free and the MSG is what made Chinese food taste so good!
