FYI, air frying is just heated convection air cooking that one can do with any convection oven (e.g., convection toaster ovens, microwave-convection combo ovens, etc.). One possible advantage of the Instant Pot lid is that it may cook certain foods a bit faster, but mainly because of its relatively smaller capacity (yet which also means less food in a single batch).

Thanks!! I just got my IP 2 weeks ago and love it. I only discovered this new lid today and am thinking about getting 1 but am still not positive it will work with my IP. You listed the the duo Nova plus but mine just says duo nova… There's no plus in its name. I need to know how to find out if it will work on the 1 I have if anyone can help that would be great and thanks.
