I am glad that you know how you can help yourself when you are feeling out of sorts.
Depression runs in my family. I have had to deal with it myself for many years trying all sorts of things and medication to help me.
I am in a very good place now and have been for a number of years now.
It is horrible to feel like that.
I am glad you took care of yourself, Darlene.
Woman need to do that. A lot rests on our shoulders.

I am the same way Darlene music does it for me. I only hear it in the car. I am in an apartment now but do not put on to disturb
my neighbor. He works nights and I did too for almost 17 years. I even put the tv low, because I do not want to disturb his sleep or the next door neighbors…M🎃M of 5

    Hello Darlene,

I have had a devastating last year that includes becoming a widow after 43 years of marriage. I certainly understand having down days and better days. One thought that helps me is to never feel guilty about my down days by telling myself that I should count my blessings and that so many people are worse off than I am. Let yourself feel the emotions and wait out the storm. Do whatever it is that comforts you including listening to music. You don't need to pile guilt on top of your "blues". You have to remember that you have no control over your emotions.

I found your channel by searching for ideas for freezer meals. My husband did ALL our cooking for decades. I even had to Google how to fix an over-easy egg! Your videos have been such a blessing to me. Your gentle, well-spoken visits have helped me tackle projects that seem insurmountable whether it is doing a bit of seasonal decorating or giving me confidence to start cooking.

Never doubt the positive impact that you're making on our lives!

    Bless you!

Those cookies look fabulous! When I make cookie dough I double or triple the recipe, roll it into logs and freeze the dough. Then, in the evenings, I make 6 cookies, 2 each. They are fresh baked, nice warm and gooey. Also, thank you for the freezer meal ideas. I get overwhelmed too. I have days that I feel like cooking. I have a freezer stocked full of meals for us so that I have meals for that I'm just not feeling up to it, my family can still have a nice home cooked meal.

Bless your heart. You are my people. Lol. Music has helped me through so many rough times in my life, good and bad, even if it just makes me have a good cry. I always have my music on when cleaning, reading, crafting, whatever I’m doing I’m listening to music. We do whatever it takes to get us through.
I love having coffee with you each morning. Thank you for doing these vlogs. ❤️🎼❤️

Please feel better Darlene!! Good to see I'm not the only one using hamburger helper these days lol. It's the perfect meal portions for two with a lunch leftover lol. We recently revisited hamburger helper becuz learning to make meals for 2 vs 4 has been difficult! Getting there but ugh in the beginning was bumpy lol. I started sending meals with the kids some also that helps when I want soup and I use to much lol
