I can see the NYT article: Food magazine video star is shown the door for sounding off about her employer on her personal youtube channel. Complaints center on having to adopt a cheerful persona while the company fights her union organizing efforts tooth and nail. What's next for the millennial who refuses to compromise?" Then discuss the oppressive stereotypes placed on cute, petite asian women, get a book contract, make a documentary for Netflix on the subject and appear on every talk show in the country.

Can you start do food media yourself? I totally feel you for the job frustrating you from doing your favorite thing. I can’t imagine you have to deal with the work mess while grieving. Maybe you could take a break from things that drains you on top of dealing with grief and taking care of grandma, such the toxic work environment, and have fewer things in your plate for a while. I’m sure you will have a powerful return after a short break. Hang in there, June!

Your live really helps, maybe because I'm feeling stuck in the same way and seeing it on someone else, helps me try and find alternatives, like focusing on doing things I love and exercise and know others are going through the same things make me feel less messed up.

you want to sit home all day with Aaron and pretend your being true to you… that's no real surprise. You do a great deal of virtue signaling and that behavior is totally suited to this platform. All you want to hear is what you have to say. Your views about the workforce are neither practical or realistic.

If it's a matter of your negative "tone" at work, they might make the choice for you about leaving the job. It sounds like you are totally soured on that company so maybe you should look for something else that you do like. The alternative of "working for the man" and coping with their rules and wishes, is to go off and start your own business.

Also, that fear of discomfort is such an anxiety provoking thing, my mom had that too. Would nearly stroke out. But I learned alot about the physical feeling she was experiencing after my mom DID die a few months ago unexpectedly, and I experienced a level of anxiety that is NOT normal for me – I would have done almost anything to escape it. I ended up using CBD sublungual made by a friend and it really knocked the edge off.

You're 100% right on your POV re: grandma. Sometimes the consequences of NOT going when your loved one is freaking out are worse than the having to go. Keeping that relationship is key. Also, I can speak for the calming effects of a broad spectrum CBD salve – I used it for my mom as she grew anxious as a result of cognitive decline.
