Nice ramble. I think the general trend toward higher protein/animal protein is because it's working for so many people. I've been keto for almost 3 years, but over the past year have been gradually moving toward a more ketovore approach, higher protein, lowering my fat intake. The PSMF bread has been a total game changer. I find myself watching videos from the anabolic community and then adapting them to clean up the ingredients and lower the carbs. Thanks for sharing!

I’m pretty much there also. I love not being driven by my food cravings. I also don’t have the huge amounts of anxiety I used to have. Hunger is different now.
I tell everyone that my diet is whatever I eat. It just happens to be keto.
Spot on!! I recently, within the last month, discovered that if I eat to many carbs my mood changes almost immediately. If I go out to dinner with the boyfriend by the time I get home im really cranky, lol

For me, the hardest part of keto/vore is the first 7-10 days detoxing from the carb overload 😜🤨 I’m on day four.

I hear ya with the veggies. There are very few I can eat and feel GOOD. Zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, green beans, peppers and cucumbers are the only ones I eat now. Usually only (maybe) one serving a day. Cucumbers are my usual go to. I crave protein and because I no longer eat legumes, peanut butter is not my go to anymore. I love uncured bacon and add that to meals for some fat along with avocado. I find that "ketovore" (love it) is doing well by me as well. I believe in THM and the concept, but it does not work for me anymore either. E meals we definitely NOT energizing for me. Whenever I ate on, I crashed and was starving in 2 hours.

Same thing happened to me with hunger cues…my whole life I have been hungry, even though I didn’t have a weight issue, I was always hungry. Once I increased my protein and stopped measuring how much protein to eat, I stopped being hungry…I love this!!!!
