I’m not picky but for some reason foods u hate one day just transform the next and u suddenly understand them. Still hate potatoes, French fries, and peanut butter tho 😆 idk if that’ll ever change

this was my fiancé with ranch. he still has a long way to go with trying things he hasn't before, but for the first 2 1/2 years of our relationship i asked him how ketchup could possibly be his ONLY dipping sauce and would beg him to try ranch cos i knew he would love it. tried it once and spit it out. 6 months later he tried it again and said, "babe!!! why didn't you ever tell me about this? how could you keep this from me?" 🤣🤣🤣

I understand this too. I used to dislike my dad's Puerto Rican food. 10 years later i can say confidently I enjoy it and make it myself (though not as good!)

I love this. I think I also have the same thing with garlic. I once had not a any choice but garlic rice from a restaurant where my dad brought us and I never knew how I really love garlic.

I hate seafood, and I probably will always hate seafood. But every time I get the chance to try something new I always do justt to make sure. My childhood friend took me to a hibachi place for my 18th and she got a bunch of different sushi and sashimi for me to try while I ordered things I knew I liked and we shared. I hated all the sushi but I know what it tastes like now. Also tried octopus more recently and sure enough I hated it 😅 I love seaweed though, miso soup is a favorite. Typically you'll never truly know if you don't try it
