    I use the slap chop to chop nuts (I do not use it for onions becasue the nuts would taste terrible after that I imagine). But for small portions of nuts, it's perfect and keeps hem from sliding from under your knife all over the cutting board.

    for that measuring jug that also weighs things. Guess what, I have a measuring jug and a electronic scales. I put the jug on the scales, and then im able to measure in both volume and weight at the same time as well! But i can also take the jug off the scales and put another jug or bowl or plate on there and weigh other things while the first jug is still in use

    Though I agree with Josh on many of these, as some people have said… These I feel would be best for anyone who has a physical disability that makes it harder for them to do it the normal way or should I say more so the proper way! Some of these I feel can make sense and work, but this overall just ain’t that good of a replacement.

    The chopper is great. I can easily cut a onion/ tomato in half. But chopping anything hurts my wrists. So its a great gadget for me. Its the same as use ur hands to make dough why use the mixer when you'll inevitably use hands to flatten/roll it? Yet we do use it because its convenient and helps people who cant knead for that long. Some of these gadgets (like the chopper) essentially does the same thing.

    Honestly, just make your dressing in a jar. Add your ingredients, shake it up like a cocktail and you're done. And you can store the excess in the fridge directly in the same jar. Minimum effort, minimum dishes.

    Nah Josh, I’m calling you out, you give the corn peeling thing a thumbs up because people might be “scared to use a knife” and it works. But when the slap chop comes around, it’s a thumbs down even though onions are one of the most common things people cut themselves with while using a knife and the item still works (albeit unconventionally)? Biased, college people with no knife skills should utilize that item if knife skills is what they lack.

    The problem of the tortilla press is that the "pressing" part is usually much faster than the cooking part, so it's better to have a large plancha/comal where you can cook many at a time. with a small thing like that, you'll take ages to make enough for a small family, let alone if you have guests.

    Also:
    wheat tortillas->rolling pin
    corn tortillas->press

    "Use a knife" wow I never would have thought of that! Oh wait sometimes the energy and spoons to just "use a knife". Also maybe use a normal sized onion for the slap chop? Like most people would have? Definitely ensured I will be clicking not recommend. Cause guess what not everyone is able-bodied or neurotypical, my dude. Some of us can't just do those things you're saying we can "just do".

    19:36 Silicone is only stable up to 250 or so celsius, a pan on a fire or halogen goes much higher, especially on the sides where the heat curls up. That thing will start giving off stinky fumes. They might not kill you but they will kill your appetite.

    Because you snobbed the sushi bazooka makes me question the entire video, TBH. Ours gets used a couple times a month. You didn't pack it tight enough and it doesn't require replacing a bamboo mat that breaks in the storage drawer or fiddling with plastic wrap. Also dishwasher safe. Not sponsored, they're just pretty awesome.

    a lot of these products are created for people who are unable to do certain tasks, like cutting with a knife (maybe due to disabilities, tremors, etc.). please be mindful and respectful before judging 🙂

    I'm not good at rolling sushi, it always messes up, so I bought the bazooka, takes a little bit to get used to but honestly it's a fantastic product, and you dont need a sushi mat for it, you can use some rice on the ends to seal the roll or water if you want. I can easily make multiple rolls now in far less time, and they're sturdier for cutting then when I was attempting to roll them myself.

    A lot of these products are trying to find solutions to problems that don't exist, but as others have said in comments, there are situations where some of these can be lifesavers for people with things like arthritis, people that have had a stroke, people with dexterity issues, nerve damage, etc…The slap chop and the emulsifier are good examples of that. Maybe you can manage to cut that onion into quarters but not further than that.
