When you cook the chicken add a bit of water and seasoning, then when you take the chicken out pour the broth into a jar and can it or freeze it so you have some and don’t have to buy any

I love your grocery hauls with the meal ideas. You give great ideas for meals that most likely really help people with big families. I am an empty nester but your ideas have inspired me to make some of your recipes (smaller scale) and bring them to my grand kids for lunch or dinner. So, thank you lady!!

How about an overnight French toast casserole or an egg breakfast casserole with leftover ham ,sausage of bacon for breakfast or pancakes on a sheet pan to make it easy for you ,Sloppy Joes in the crockpot for dinner or lunch .

Lasagna noodles used to be seasonal at my Aldi but they started carrying it more. I bought three boxes in case I needed it off season. Honey, vanilla and yeast and a few other supplies are so much cheaper at Sams club if you have a friend who may get them for you. I make queso dip from the Aldi cheese melt with salsa. I blend the salsa so there are no chunks. It is super tasty and easy. Corn bread and hot dogs is exactly what you need for corn dog muffins. I have been getting 8 chicken Pattie’s as well. Best tip for homemade stuff is to do anything you can in multiples like I make homemade enchilada sauce and freeze in portions to use later. I make my own corn bread but I mix all the dry ingredients in a mason jar in the closet so it is easy to pull out and make quickly. You are doing great! Also canola and vegetable oil can be used interchangeably. I pour my grease into old Aldi salsa jars to harden and trash.

Dollar Tree carries the Oven Ready Lasagna noodles. To save your self sometime get the frozen sweet peppers 12 oz bag. When you make the dough for the bread sticks or pizza , or batter for waffles make extra & freeze. Make extra rice freeze. Idea for lunch…Fritos Pie (Fritos, Chili(or sloppy Joe), & cheese) or Fritos Tacos (Fritos & taco fixings), peanut butter & jelly.

you are doing great on going homemade. smart to have some things to help you out like the ramen. once you find meals y'all love then you can start doubling up when you make & then give yourself an "instant" pre-made meal for later in the week or next week.

You gotta have cream cheese with a packet of ranch in it for pinwheels!!!! So they don't like cream cheese that is too bad, it is SO good!! I then add diced black olives, diced green chili's, cheese, diced ham, maybe pickles sometimes. Kinda whatever is in the fridge.

Compared to other accounts I follow, the haul was all over the place kinda like back and forth all over the countertable. If that’s how you do all of your hauls keep doing what works for you.

You have the stuff to make taco salad for lunch. Where I live they make it with chicken/beef lettuce cheese black beans and sour cream with the chips you purchased in this haul as a lunch option. Have a good weekend
