I wish you all the best. Just like to add something that might help. Picking leaner cuts of meat and cooking by steaming will be easier to digest. Also besides ox bile you could try Betain HCL with pepsin with each meal. This has helped my wife a lot.

Hey! Another EDSer on carnivore! Love to see it! I'm curious about your POTS symptoms? I found after a year on carnivore, I ended up feeling better by adding rice back into my diet. My theory is that the increase in retained fluid actually helps my pots. But I try to get most of my calories from meat. I hope you end up staying stable on just meat. My EDS is better when I only eat meat, but rice and meat is the best balance I've found so far.

You can tell from your face that you don't look healthy. Dark circles etc.. Get help or information from a Plant Based Doctor instead of continuing this diet. It not only destroys your health but also the animals and the environment. You'll still have to deal with deadly diseases of civilization if you carry on like this. The people in the comments, just like you, unfortunately have no idea what they are talking about or what they are even doing. People here just want to hear something good about their bad habits. That's the way losers are. Eat a wholesome, plant-based diet and let your intestines be properly cleaned first. Otherwise, as I said, you will have a bad deadly end. Your face looks very sick.

I have been eating only meat for 3.5 years now. Recovery is a long process. Don't strain yourself. Don't unnecessarily force your body. Your body needs a lot of rest and sleep. It took me 2 years to feel that I could return to work part-time. My advice is not to strain yourself. Take advantage of every moment to feel good but under no circumstances force yourself to exert yourself. Do not use up your precious energy on exertion. Save it for the body, for processes that require treatment. You are young and your body will cope. I am an elderly person but I am still coming back to the world of the living despite my bad condition. I wish you all the best, persevere, girl, you'll be fine!

Thank you, Rachael, cheering you on too girl, you’re amazing. I am a late stage lymphoma survivor, I had numerous autoimmune diseases prior to cancer, and now I have a couple other weird unusual, rarish, new autoimmune diseases, that’s what led me to carnivore.
Four weeks in, and I feel so good, starting to feel that maybe I can heal, instead of feeling like a victim to a disease that I don’t understand, nor does anyone else really. That mental shift matters—feels like I got some power and agency back in some way, it’s a great feeling.
So I’m cheering you on from San Francisco, Ca, and we’ve got this! Happy to connect if you’re ever out this way.

There's a lot of experimentation with this. A lot of trial and error and more error than anything until you will finally heal. It's coming for you Rach. You have a very bright future ahead of you.

Look into fungal meningitis. You can get tested for it. Your symptoms are identical to mine and I have it. I've been on Lion's diet for over 60 days now and all symptoms have improved for me. Hope this helps, thanks for sharing and keep fighting to heal!!

I have a tbi and being more meat based no seed oils has made a difference for me. It's nice to finally start getting your brain back, it's interesting how some aspects of our issues are similar but yet are different. Hbot and the diet are the main reason I have gotten better.

Encouraging to hear you are continually improving on this diet.

I was doing strict Carnivore before also and personally noticed that when I removed all the added salt completely; my gut felt better, digestion improved, skin on my face improved, less headaches / brain fog, natural taste improved, joint stiffness and mobility seemed to noticeably improve also.

I don’t think adding the salt is really that good for us because it seems a bit unnecessary and ‘unnatural’ because in nature we wouldn’t really be adding a ‘salt’ to our meats (in proper nature) – just something to consider because I hear you looking for ways to heal & improve you gut and I definitely think this could be another piece to the puzzle.

‘Steak and Butter Gal’ talked about removing salt and said it’s only been a positive, she’s been doing the Carnivore diet for a couple years I think, if you watch her also..

Have you tried adding / experimented with bone marrow & raw butter also? For different fats to use..

I feel sad that you have such issues. I wonder where they came from? Maybe bad genes from family? You look good. Your eyes look stressed and tired but you seem very nice and you look very nice. I hope all goes your way. I fail at carnivore all the time.

You are a beast!!!! So glad you found this way of eating!!!! ! I have been a carnivore for over two years. I struggled with fat and had horrible diarrhea for about 7 months. I was only eating beef. I started eating chicken a few times a week, diarrhea went away and my gut has fully healed. Not everyone does well with higher fat and you may be one of those people too! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing your story. Not only do I enjoy your content, but seeing you heal before my eyes too…. You got this!!!! P.s.. I also struggled with salt too. Just something to keep in mind…

Trying to get some beef cuts in before I go full carnivore. Unfortunately my body starts responding in severe pain to fatty cuts of steak or eating too much fat which isn’t much at all.

Do you think maybe brisket or another animal might go better.

I know I’m headed in the right direction because after being house bound for years I am walking a mile a day but I’m still having so much nerve pain related to food.

I watched a video where you were trying to get onto the Lion Diet and it was tough for you psychologically. You do look much more animated, more energy now. I’m glad you’re not giving up on yourself. You have enormous potential in this world. There is a tonne of psychology to do with food and diet. You are living it 1st hand, well done.

I can only say GOD BLESS YOU!!! My stage 4 variety of a Pancreatic cancer seems a joke compared to what you have going on. I'm an old man at age 48 (diagnosed at 43) and would love to hear more on this DNRS. I too have no gall bladder. I take a combination of Jarrows Ox Bile Salt and Lipase that is recommended by Dr
Kevin Stock. Carnivore Dentist, and an OG of Carnivore.

I think the carnivore diet is best viewed as an elimination and healing diet, but not necessarily a permanent diet… after your body heals and is no longer sensitive to carbs. For example, a "small" amount of carbs now and then will spike insulin without breaking ketosis. Insulin regulates things besides just sugar. Your body needs sufficient insulin to regulate hormones and other metabolic processes that rely on it for optimum health. The carnivore diet, after a long enough time, may suppress insulin so low that it has some negative consequences. Not life threatening, just sub-optimal.

I'm the same in constantly researching, questioning, and considering carefully. I have a tendency to developing new autoimmune issues. But I'm just much closer to my start with carnivore. I did a week or two of "zero carb" in February and am planning to do carnivore leaning heavily toward lion diet for March, April, and May. In this planning I realized that if I am feeling any amount of improvement, encouragement and peace of mind with it on the last day of May then I will definitely actually keep going the same till after my birthday in early June. So at that point I will have had 96 days like this, maybe not 100% lion diet but hopefully fairly close to it. I did eat some butter yesterday when i wanted some. So far that's my only intentional deviation from lion. I'm feeling my way through this!

Later I hope to reintroduce more regular use of meats that I kept severely limited in the first three months and then after that perhaps early foods from the GAPS diet stage 1. Who knows what will happen?!

Stick to it. I’ve been animal based for over three years due to multiple health issues. I’ve always been relatively healthy but developed these issues in my late thirties. I am now healthier than ever in my life and am learning that the human body is a magnificent machine that will heal itself when given the proper fuels. I use grounding, Sun exposure, diet, meditation, qi gong, strength training, etc… Stick with it and continue to improve. I eat a lot of meat and some organs, now and then. Health is wealth. Get rich Rach! 🥩💪🤙
